GARMENT DRYCLEANING
So what is Dry Cleaning anyway and when should my garments be dry cleaned verse another option?
You want to dry clean when you have very delicate garments or for: suits, dresses, soiled or stained garments and special fabrics. Fabric materials to dry clean are: cashmere, silk, rayon, wool, and linen.
When you choose dry cleaning your garments enter and leave the machine dry. A solvent is used instead of water. Lux Dry Cleaners uses environmentally friendly green cleaning agents.
We also use stain removal products to remove even the toughest stains. Our staff use the care label on your garment and determine the best cleaning methods to keep your garments professional and looking new. It also allows us to remove stains that water cannot, like oil and grease while preserving the fabrics.
WASH, DRY & FOLD
Stop spending hours every week doing your laundry when you can have Lux wash, dry and fold laundry service come right to you, (or you can stop by our Lux location for drop off and pick up if preferred).
It's simple! Just gather your wash, put it into one of our LUX garment bags and leave it at your front door. We will pick up and return it beautifully cleaned, folded and ready to be put away with our free pickup and delivery service.
SHIRT LAUNDERING
We treat shirts for stains and then either dry clean or wash them. Shirts are then dried as they are pressed. Giving you a polished professional look you can feel confident about.
Upon request we offer shirt folding and bagging. This service is convenient when you need to pack shirts for a business trip, or have limited hanging space in your closet.
BRIDAL & VINTAGE
Wedding Dress Preservation and Standard Dry Cleaning Are NOT the Same! Professional cleaning is the first step in wedding dress preservation, and the sooner you can get the wedding dress to the preservationist or the dry cleaners, the better!
Our specialist will create a unique treatment plan according to your dress' fabric, stitching, and details, in addition to analyzing stains along the hem and entire dress.
Your dress will be carefully sealed in an acid-free inner box that controls humidity. The sealed packaging also allows you to view your gown while protecting it from mold, mildew. This inner box is placed in a durable long-term storage chest for additional safety.
HOUSEHOLD DRY CLEANING
Bedding should be cleaned weekly and working this habit into your routine couldn’t be easier with LUX! We can clean mattress pads, pillow top covers, sheets, pillows and pillow cases, blankets, down filled comforters and bedspreads, and more!
